Greater than one weekBought for a PC build. I have an 850 EVO that has lasted me years, so I have high hopes for this one too. Price is reasonable and transfer speeds are fast. I can load Visual Studio in like 3 seconds. Well worth the money.

Greater than one weekPurchased this SSD to hold backup video files around 1 to 5 GB. The disk mark results are on par with what Samsung states within their product description. Purchased: Feb, 18, 2019. If any unexpected failures occur I will note them here with new edit dates.

> 3 dayI like this one. But, my machine is too old to take full potenciall. Use it as an upgrade, but beacuse my machine is too old this was overkill, could have gone witha a cheaper one

Greater than one weekNot much more to say. I used a cable to lay down High Sierra on it then followed the instructions on iFixit to install it. I booted from it then migrated my files and apps from the original HDD. The MacBook run 10x faster.

> 3 dayI have used Samsungs SSDs for years. I work in PC repair/general IT and have used literally hundreds of the these 860 Evos. The reliability of Samsungs drives is simply unmatched. Within my time working in IT, I have seen 2 failures of Samsung SSDs in general, and they were both older models (840 Evos) that were well past the TBW rating.

> 3 dayAdded as 2nd drive, but Win10 OS didnt see it (in this PC). But boot menu listed it, and could also be seen in device manager. Called windows support, spent about 2 hrs troubleshooting, technician felt that the OS was corrupted, then reloaded Win10 operating system. Did not help, still same problem. Went on line, also not very helpful but gave some tips. Went into windows, type in lower left search bar partition, then enter, new drive is seen but needs to be given a name, e.g., drive E. Still a ? on drive icon, so needed in the same partition menu to optimize the drive. Surprised that Windows support did not know this.
