These Solid State Drives are a solid fit for the LOCKERSTOR 8 (AS6508T) NAS server. Perfect performance enhancement; upgrade the RAM and its ZOOOOOOOM baby!! ZOOOOOOM.

It works great!

This upgrade worked great. Aurora A7, replaced 1TB spindle with Optane in front of it with this M.2 stick. The longest part of the upgrade was cloning the spindle onto the new M.2, which worked great - used the Samsung cloning software.

I received the item in record time and thought that was great, however, the Samsung SSD HD was supposed to be a 1TB And a 250GB was sent instead. The original manufacturer labeling indicated 250 but the gummed label added on the box said 1TB. The original markings and the item inside agreed it is a 250. Now to return and wait for another SSD to arrive.

Samsung is one of the only manufacturers to offer free cloning software to migrate your old ssd to this new one. The cloning tool is free at Samsung’s website. You will require either a free second M2 slot in your computer to clone your old drive, or an adapter. Fortunately my Alienware R4 has two slots and migration of my old 125mb drive took only 8 minutes. Great value.
