> 3 dayThe PS5 has a less than adequate storage capacity for the modern gaming age. Considering that the average game size is between 50-100gb, and there are some even more massive (call of duty >200gb’s) expanding the storage was absolutely necessary.

Greater than one weekFinally being able to grab a PS5, my next purchase was to get some additional memory, since the new console really doesn’t have much. Installation is pretty easy, the PS5 recognized it immediately and formatted it within a couple minutes. After setting this as the default storage for the console, I installed several games with no issues. Installs were fairly quick, with the exception of downloads taking their time for digital games or in my case, updates after installing the disk version. This memory has good speed and having used a Samsung SSD as a computer boot drive for years, I know the memory is reliable. The memory also has a good 5-year warranty, which may get tested in a console. I do think these are a bit pricy even on sale, but if you play a lot of console games, a necessary purchase.

> 3 dayI built a new computer and was debating between the 980 pro and Sn850x, I dont regret my purchase at all. This thing is super fast and very stable, glad the samsung magician software sorted out the shortened life issue.

> 3 dayI went from running out of memory and having to load some of my games off of a hard disk drive to having plenty of memory and being able to load all of my games off of an SSD; leading to vastly improved load times that are usually incredibly quick. I never see textures still loading in after getting into a game anymore. In other words I got exactly what I wanted.

> 3 dayI didnt even bother opening this package, as after purchase, I learned that this is not compatible with Mac Pro 6,1 (Late 2013), a.k.a Trashcan.

> 3 dayI ordered this SSD (with the heatsink) for my PS5. Slide the cover off, unscrew the cover plate, remove the spacer and its screw, slide the SSD, place the spacer underneath, screw it in, and get the cover plate and then the PS5 baseplate back on.
