Clearly the technology has advanced. For 1/3 the cost I got 4 times the storage -- nine years later.

Got myself a 2TB drive. Replacing my old 830 500GB.

Very fast, runs cool, and easy to install. I moved up from a .5TB drive to this 2.0TB drive and with the proper disk cloning and partitioning software the upgrade was a breeze!

I bought it for my wife, will do for me soon

Installed samsung software and was very easy to clone my old hardrive

I dont know where the trade-off is for that price; hopefully theyre not sending used ones as new...

Bought on discount , upgrade from a old hd can really feel the perf increase

Flawless installation on my PS4 Pro. In 10min the system was up and running. All graphics (dashboard and 4k gameplay) looks beautiful now. No more issues loading in-game textures

Just a quick tip, some PC cases where you mount this Samsung SSD might be an issue. I have an NZXT case. When attempting to mount this drive, the power cable is FACE DOWN. On a flat surface inside your PC case, this doesnt work as you will have to bend the power cable and it pushes UP^ on this drive as it rests in place (not good). I had to purchase a hard drive enclosure and mount this outside of the NZXT PC case via USB. My Western Digital SSD drive has the power and SATA cable facing UP^ and I had no issue.
