Bigger diameter than expected, but work okay

I have used SALI cut-offs before and like them. I saw this combo kit so I grabbed them. This time the shipped them in a bag and the jar had been opened and had no lid. It must have been a return. I counted and they are all in there. Even the opened pack. I dont really care about the lid but I thought I should mention it. Now the cutters: You get 20 cut-off wheels. these are fiber reinforce wheels. That is the only ones I will use. I got a chunk of non reinforced an inch into my cheek years ago and will never use those again. I use these in a small chop saw from HF. They really last a long time. I get at least 20 cuts of hardened railroad spikes from each one. About 3 Non hardened ones. The grinders are great for my Dewalt grinder to level concrete sidewalks and sharpen my Brush Hog blades. The Flap wheels I dont use much. To remove rust for powdercoating I use the impregnated scour type wheels. The price is unbeatable. I hate to stop supporting my local hardware but I just cant see spending 4 times as much by buying a few pieces at a time. For the normal homeowner, I can see it but not for anyone with a working shop.

I really like these cut off discs they have great durability and you cant beat the price! I cut 1/8 high carbon steel for knife making with these with no problems.

Have used dozens of different brands of discs & have cut steel over 3 thick. That said there is nothing wrong with these discs. Had to cut & weld an engine cranes 1/2 thick bracket plate, & they worked just fine. Sali may cut a little (not that much) slower than some those other (often thinner) cutting discs, but they last longer. Thats the normal tradeoff where increasing cutting speed usually = a disc lives a much shorter life. So, I can say the SALI cut offs are likely my next preferred choice vs the other options out there.

Arrived quickly and cut through my sheet metal project pretty well.

I picked up the 4 version for an older Ryobi corded angle grinder (most use 4.5 sizes now) but this wheel made quick work of cutting a piece of small steel scrap I had in my garage. Dont forget to wear your safety glasses and have the protective guard in place for whatever you affix these to. So far theyre great. Highly recommend!

Got here great, arrived quickly

So far we have used only a few of them and each one has shattered and come apart while cutting. I am not sure is it was this batch of them or not. I wouldnt try them again.
