I would highly recommend not getting the 1TB version of this drive. Just over 10TB written and the drive is already down to 93% health. Sabrent customer service isnt the greatest and they will do everything possible to avoid an RMA. Ive never had a drive degrade this quickly before. The rated speeds have also taken a nose dive and will probably need a low-level format. I have Samsung drives with 100TB written to them and half a decade in service and they are still at 100% health. If you want a Sabrent drive, go for the 2TB model, this one seems to have held up.

My order was delivered next day which was very welcome as I made the mistake of ordering a Seagate 4TB SSD without thinking of the heatsink. Stupid me. Great price too. I felt better when I found it was easy to install and fits into the console perfectly with screw alignment. If I ever purchase another SSD which requires a heatsink, I will get another one of these things. Its a pity it is on the inside because it looks really nice and sexy. No issues with the SDD so far so I assume its doing its job but I have no idea how to test that other than successful operation in these hot summer days. All good. Thank you.

During windows installation, windows looks for the SSD to download to, the SSD was not detected. Attempted to troubleshoot online and remedy with a driver download from intel, unsuccessful.

I have owned this hd for less than 8 months and it is now dead. I have troubleshooted this hd with bios flash, external enclosure, testing on another mobo/pc and this hd is officially dead. I have never owned a hard drive that has died on me in such a short period of time. I was gone on vacation and wanted to backup my PC upon getting back home, but i was SOL because by the time i got home the hd was DEAD. I lost all my files in the process and have not been able to recover them. I am very disappointed in this and WILL 100% not recommend this HD to anybody looking to buy a hd for their PC.

The drive worked flawlessly until today. Speeds were great, never thought about the drive which is good. That changed today. Suddenly stopped working while computer was on and Windows 10 Pro running. Left to do something and when I returned to computer I saw message reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.
