Boot time on this thing is ridiculous. Blazing fast, make sure to enable fast boot to have your startup time reduced to like 6 seconds.

I purchased this m.2 SSD in December 2020. The speeds are as advertised and very fast, the drive life on the other hand is quite poor. I have a sabrent gen 3 m.2 ssd, which has done about TRIPLE the amount of read and write data than this sabrent rocket 4 plus. The older gen 3 currently has 99% drive remaining life, while this drive is already sitting at 93%, after only about 4 months of light use. Fast drive, but very poor longevity.

I bought this for heatsink for my PS5 after seeing videos on YouTube on its ease of installation. Not only that, it also replaces the PS5 SSD bay slot cover so it works as a heatsink plus a cover. I used mine with WD SN850 SSD and the heatsink fits perfectly with PS5. What is important, some gamers found that using this exclusive PS5 heatsink dropped several temperatures even more compared to using a traditional heat sink which should help with SSD heat dissipation and prolong its life. This is thicker than what it says. It also doesn’t give PCIE 4.0 speeds in a x570 motherboard. It only goes up to 3GB according to crystaldiskmark.

Fits like a glove on the PS5. Comes with a screwdriver that fits both screws you need to remove perfectly. And looks cool to boot. My go to recommendation for friends.

Wanted to get the elecgear but I heard sometimes you will receive their heatsink and there wont be a copper heat pipe in the middle so I opted opted Ohio t this and couldnt be happier.
