Im happy with the brilliance of this lantern, and the fact that I can use the same battery as my Ryobi electric drill. Not being able to subject this lantern to water is a big limitation for emergency use.

I have used spotlights for hunting for over 30 years - this light is incredible, great light, great value! Thank you Ryobi.

I bought this light for camping trips and got to use it recently. If you are looking for a bright spot light, this is the light to get. It is extremely bright. You press the trigger on the light once and it puts the light on the high brightness mode. You do not need to keep pressing the trigger, the light will stay on. Press the trigger again and the light goes to low brightness mode. I cannot comment on how long the battery lasts. We used it for maybe an hour and the battery was fine.

This is a great flashlight and very bright. I use it when I let my dog out at night and when I’m on the boat and need to find my way back. Wish the head of the flashlight could move to angle it when I use it to work on the truck but all in all it definitely does the trick.

I use it for many different tasks now from cooking to spotting wildlife in my backyard to taking walks in the deep woods. Light does it all!!

Strongly recommend if you already have a bunch of the batteries laying around from other tools

This light is great. Extremely bright but you can conserve battery with high - low switch. Love the longevity of lithium batteries you have full power for the entire charge. Definitely recommend this light.
