well made--heavy metal--these are not the light weight aluminum ones.

They were exactly as discribed and they look great.

After receiving them I found them at Home Depot for half the price. They are hugh quality but expensive.

Changing review after install... proper install requires drilled lag bolts, cotter pins and washers.

Great quality item....heavy duty and appears to be a good paint job. Time will only tell if it will or will not rust.

These work great as a replacement for rusted 60 year old shutter dogs on my house. They are solid and come with the hardware you need to replace the old ones. I also like that they have a screw bolt that fits more securely in the stone work around my windows.
