First up, make it shatter proof. Ours was shattered by week two. Id like to say it was kids, but even adults were prone to dropping the remote because of its odd shape and tiny size. This silicone sleeve saves our new replacement remove from being destroyed on the concrete basement floor, because Apple remotes never seem to hit the carpet. The second design flaw is visibility. How do your find a remote that is tiny and black, hidden in the recesses of a massive sectional? When you know, clue me in because we are still looking for the first one. For the replacement we wanted to increase visibility. We thought about attaching it to a 2x4, but thought would try the Auswaur Shockproof Silicone Remote Cover in high visibility Orange and see if that would help us with the nightly locating game we play. I have had this a couple of months & it’s been working out fine. Pros: 1. Fit of this to the remote is pretty good. 2. Fits my hand just fine. 3. Price was reasonable. 4. Fairly lightweight. Cons: 1. Sometimes I have trouble clicking the rewind or forward function due to the wraparound of the silicone. However that’s what protects the glass. Overall , it’s working out just fine & I’m happy it’s protecting my glass. So I would buy it again.

Bought this after I accidentally dropped my control and it cracked. This is my second one because I have two remotes. Decided on a brighter color so I could find it more easily.

Bought a couple of these and the fit and quality is great but the colors are off. This is not very purple or they sent me the wrong cooor.

My son dropped out some remote and cracked the glass… This hides the crack and keeps you from cutting yourself on the edges. It also is soft and grippy to prevent future drops and protect the remote just incase a drop happens.
