This tub cleaner works ok but I thought it would work better than it did. It took several applications and lots of hand scrubbing to get the hard water stains off the shower glass, it worked better on the faucet and handles though.

Cuando compré esta casa tenía la puerta manchada con marcas de agua. El depósito grueso de jabón que tenía lo quitó fácilmente (el mismo resultado que había obtenido antes con remedios caseros) sin embargo, aunque en la foto no se ve bien, no quitó las manchas de agua que esperaba. No está mal el producto pero no era lo que esperaba. Creo que seguiré usando mi remedio casero para evitar estar expuesta a este químico como la advierte la etiqueta.

Look. If you’re shower doors have minimal soap scum on them. It’ll work pretty good. The top like quarter of my shower door is nice and shiny. But the rest of it. Is a little cleaner with a solid layer of soap scum on it. And trust me. I scrubbed. Rinsed. Scrubbed. Rinsed. For a solid 30 minutes on just the door alone. And it still has that layer of scum on it. I live in a rental. So i dont really spend a lot of money to clean and fix above the minimum weekly cleaning. But i hate how the shower glass looks. So i spent the money. Seeing how well all of the automotive rain-x products have worked. And i was let down. Extremely… without using it as a cutting or buffing compound and breaking out the electric polisher… i really dont see it being able to do what it says. Even using a mr clean magic eraser and repeating the first few steps over and over and over. It has made no change from the initial layer it removed after only a weeks worth of soap scum, dont waste your money unless you have a very thin layer of soap scum on your glass. And immediately follow it with some sort of hydrophobic coating or ceramic coating to keep the soap scum off.

I’ve always struggled cleaning my shower door because of hard water, no matter how long I scrubbed, they still looked dirty…until this! Not only did it clean my hard water, with some elbow grease as well, it also helped keep them clean for longer.

I have a clear shower door that you have to squeegee after each use and can only use certain cleaners on. It normally needs to be cleaned about once a week but if you forget to squeegee it (like my kids) then it quickly builds soap residue and becomes almost fogged. And if you dont clean it regularly (like my house) then it becomes very difficult and time consuming (at least an hour) to clean. That was before I tried rain x. The first time I used rainx was to clean the door that had to be about 2 months of soap on it. Now I still had to spend time and elbow grease but the door was never cleaner. Also I spent easily half the time (30-45 minutes with rainx) that I would of with a normal glass cleaner and definitely less product. So Im going to use this every time for now on. Also I did not notice any difference after the cleaning as to the water on the door as with my usual glass cleaner.

This took some elbow grease and time to apply/reapply but worth it. I can not only see the difference and also during shower appearance and ease of drying the glass after showering. I sed this in conjunction with the same brand finish. Well worth it.

I’m seriously amazed right now! This was delivered this morning so I decided to give it a try today. I read many reviews before purchasing and went with this one. I have used shower glass cleaners for years and have not found anything I love. If you are searching for a glass cleaner do not hesitate to buy. Took me maybe 15min and didn’t have to kill my back scrubbing. I used a sponge and it all came right off. The doors did have a lot of hard water build up and I was expecting to have to do a few times and scrub for a while. Not the case with this. I wish I would have taken a full before picture. Give it a try you will not be disappointed!

I had high expectations for rain x shower door cleaner x treme clean, but unfortunately it didnt live up to its reputation. I excitedly got in my shower and squeezed some out onto a scrubber sponge and it was very thick,almost as thick as caulk! I put it on using circular motions as instructed,I let it dry and then re-wetted my doors and scrubbed them again using the scrubber sponge and then rinsed with water and dried them and they look exactly the same as they did before I used the product! I then tried it using a Mr Clean sponge and did it all over and the same outcome! Very disappointed in Rain X as they do have some great products just not this one.
