It is solidly made from a single piece of aluminum and is heavy enough to ensure it doesnt move around when setting up my laptop for the day. Couple this with a good Thunderbolt dock (or a Thunderbolt Apple Display) and you have a simple and elegant desk setup for your MBP.

> 3 dayGot this today, and I already love it! Super sturdy, and a perfect match to my MacBook. I got this primarily to raise my MacBook for use as a second screen with my iMac for when I’m coding. It’s the perfect height and looks a lot more expensive than it actually was. Love this!!

Greater than one weekPretty nice stand and design. However, its a bit short, so my laptop gets unbalanced when the monitor is fully opened, and I had to use a couple of clamps at the front to keep it fixed in place.
