The tool lets you shorten the distance between the spacer and the wedge. Its removed in reverse of how its installed. No problem. These work well without exception as long as you dont pile on the grout.

The RLS is the most amazing tool I have ever used when it comes to tile. I cant begin to tell you how awesome it has been. The results are simply amazing. We had 2000 sq ft of tile to put down and it was the wood look tile. Our floors are all uneven and after using this system, the floor looks perfectly flat. I cant believe it...every time I look at it I cant believe my husband and I layed our floor ourselves. Definitely use this product to help get rid of lippage and unevenness.
