> 3 daySo we got this for my husband to put in his car because he travels frequently within the region and spends a lot of time on the road. the best feature is that most of the controls are on the mic so you are not fiddling with buttons on the unit if you are using this while driving. My husband was able to hook this up to his car and test it easily in a short amount of time. The range is probably not as good as some more professional units but for keeping him informed and offering another level of safety when he is on the road it is perfect!

> 3 dayI like the ease of mounting in a small and tight position. The 4x4x1 size of the radio allows easy concealment out of the prying eyes of others and out of the sun. Speaker is good as long as you dont need a boomer; plenty of volume even for me (I wear 2 hearing aids). The controls take some time to figure out; mostly due to the Chinese version of English translation. The company really needs to work on that. Other than that I would recommend giving it a try! I noticed a few remarks about not being able to tune the SWRs. If you are ordering one of the trunk mounts take notice that the mounts only come with 16.5 feet of coax. You need 18 feet of coax. Either make a 18 pigtail or replace the original with 18 of new coax and it will tune just fine.

> 3 daySuper small head unit, comes with bracket for underdash mounting and wiring for fuse box. All controls are on the Mic for easy one handed use. I actually placed head unit under the seat after putting a standard cigarette lighter plug on wires. This makes it easy to move from car to car if needed. Unit works well, great for traveling and staying in contact with other vehicles you are traveling with. I would recommend.

Greater than one weekThis little cb radio is perfect to keep on hand for emergencies or general driving use. All off the radio feature are on the mic so you can mount the body of the radio out of the way. This is a great little cb that also include fm (newer feature added to cb airwaves by the fcc).

> 3 dayThis is a neat little compact CB radio that will be easy to install in cramped vehicle cabins. If you are having trouble finding a place to mount a more traditional CB radio, this could be the answer. Menu operation takes a minute to get accustomed to, but once you are familiar with it, cha going settings will be easy. The display shows coded menu options, so keep the instruction manual close so you can refer to it when changing settings. The main body of the radio is tiny and can almost fit in the palm of your hand. The mic uses what appears to be a CAT5 cable jack, so you might be able to use a cable extension (not a crossover cable) if you need more length in order to mount the unit under a seat or behind a dashboard panel. It came with a microphone bracket, main unit mounting bracket, mounting screws, thumb screws and rubber washers to go between the unit and the bracket. It also has a spare fuse. All of the controls are on the microphone head, and you can choose between red, blue, green, yellow, cyan and white backlight colors. This is a cool feature and will let you choose a color that makes viewing easier, or one that matches your interior trim color. This is a modern CB that has both AM and FM modulation, so it can make use of the new FCC rule changes that allow FM use on the CB band. Additionally, it has CTCSS and DCS squelch options to help mitigate interference in crowded band conditions. The sound is quite good for such a small speaker. The radio does have an external speaker jack in case you want a bigger speaker. The regular audio squelch is a 2 step process to adjust it, so that isnt as convenient as turning a knob, but thats a necessary compromise to get this tiny form factor. If you are using this for mounting in aJeep or other 4X4 for trail communications, I think you will really enjoy the FM capability and the CTCSS/DCS features. It will function much like a GMRS radio when used in FM mode, but without having to get a license. And you will still be able to use AM and communicate with older CBs. It does not have SSB, but its not really intended for that type of operation anyway. Overall I think its a solid choice for a super compact CB radio with FM capability.

> 3 dayI hadnt used a CB radio for literally decades, and cell phones have really hammered the CB market, but CB still has some great uses, especially where cell service is spotty (like in the mountains or deep wilderness, which is why I pulled the trigger on this purchase). Of course, CB performance, especially transmitting, depends a great deal on your antenna, but this radio does what its supposed to do in that department, even with the cheap antenna I have. I also like the dual coax connector so it should be plug-and-play for all applications. I like how this radio is really small, like only 4 square and 1 deep small. Since Im using it infrequently, I can easily store it and then pop it on the bracket with the two thumbscrews when I want it. I do wish they had included a 12v connector on the power leads or at least a cigarette lighter plug to make it easier to remove from the vehicle when I want to, but I added one myself so no worries. However, the downside (for me) to the small size is they have chosen to put ALL of the controls as well as the display only on the microphone. If you used this all the time, you would eventually get used to where all the small buttons are located, but for the occasional user like me, its a bit of a guessing game. Plus, with so many functions, you often need to switch modes to use the same button for a different function. I havent followed the technology over the years, but I think Id prefer a dial for squelch control, for example. Also, having to look at the microphone to find buttons and read the display while driving is probably as bad as texting while driving. As I said, its a learning curve issue, and I AM an old dog trying to learn new tricks. Seems like a good, solid radio for the price; just expect to spend some time familiarizing yourself with the controls and display on the mic.

> 3 dayIve had many radios from radioddity, and I havent been disappointed in either quality of product or product support. This is actually my first production CB radio thats newer than 20 years old! Ive owned many hand-me-downs and I really enjoy the efficiency of space and ease of use with this radio! Very simple to setup and put to use with the addition of a designated CB antenna. Not much of a power draw because the output is rated at 4 watts so you can simply plug into your lighter port and get on the air. For a cost effective option to get on FM CB this is really a great option!

> 3 dayGreat little CB radio that operates in the AM and FM bands!! Really small profile but powerful output. Had decent reports when transmitting to the local area. I’m pleased with the durability of the unit and the compact nature of this radio. Very intuitive to use too! Easy to recommend!
