> 3 daySo far this little firewall has rocked. I was running pfsense as a VM, but decided to move it out to a dedicated piece of hardware and this fit the bill nicely. Running the latest pfsense software which was very easy to install via USB stick. I did end up buying a USB fan to help keep this cool, its air cooled so a fan just helps out.

> 3 dayI purchased this unit in order to run a stand-alone pfSense firewall for my home network. Its silent operation--no fans needed--makes it the perfect compact host.

> 3 dayGot this to protect a 1U server in colo. 100Mbps symmetrical on the WAN and a few VLANs to route. CPU performance is OK for the wattage but cant touch a bigger box for VPN or IDS/IPS performance. Its perfect for what I need though.

> 3 dayI have pfsense installed and been using it as my Primary Firewall/Router for the past 3 year. It has been great, I did mess up the configuration 1 time which gave me headache for half a day. Luckily i had backup of my previous configuration so it was just a matter of pfsense reinstallation and restoring the back up.

Greater than one weekLove this little device. Tends to run pfsense on idle a little warm 50°C,so I suggest buying a small quiet usb powered fan. Maybe have a small unit installed on future models?

> 3 dayI’ve installed pfsense and opnsense both. After installation when i change lan ip to 192.168.0.1 it stops working. But default configuration works fine. Also it gets hot you can’t even touch.

> 3 dayIt works, and it works great. Yes, a little pricey, but Ive had no issues with running pfSense on it. My old pfSense overheated and died on me (used hardware that lasted 5+ years), and I bought this to replace it.

> 3 dayThis is an incredible little firewall appliance! While a bit cumbersome to configure with pfsense there are really good guides and documentation available. I would strongly recommend the pfsense guide by NetworkChuck on YouTube for initial configuration.
