Normally prefer pails with a hook but needed this one without a hook for a project. Has a flat back and looks like the picture.

I have had other water buckets for my dog’s crate. All of them had built in hooks on the back to hang on the crate bars, in addition to also having the handle. I couldn’t believe this arrived without built in hooks. I guess I should have scrutinized the photographs online, however, I thought this was standard in pet buckets to have the crate hooks built into the back of the bucket.

Fits snugly and securely in the crate while traveling or resting. I would not fill it to the top, just about half way is good enough for a cool drink of water.

Super cute plus useful to keep my dog hydrated during the summer. He always spills his water when I put a bowl in the kennel. Now it doesnt have to be on the floor.
