Received this from Bare Barrel to try out. I was not a fan of Cobbler Shakers for awhile, but after trying this set, call me converted! Very surprised by the quality of the tools. The stand is a major plus and I really like how there are grooves on the bottom for the tools to rest. This way, they dont move or slide around, staying in place if you have to transport the stand (upright of course). I have been using Boston Shakers for years, but this Cobbler Shaker is amazing to use! The shaker seal is tight with no leaks after making 5+ cocktails with the thing, and it wasnt difficult to pull the top cap off for the pour. The cutest touch is the spout pourer cleaner brush. I dont think I have ever seen a kit include this. It is perfect for all my pour spouts! I do wish there was a spot on the stand for it but this is minor. Otherwise, I am very happy with the quality of the tools. Its just enough tools for home bartending and looks great on the countertop when guests come over. Bought as a birthday gift. Stainless Steel is good quality and the overall finish of items and stand is great. Small cocktail book is handy for drink options. Would have been good to have a slot to store the book as well. Overall I would recommend.

This is perfect for a home bar. The materials are good quality and the kit just looks good. Also, the little cocktail recipes booklet is a very nice extra. The ice tongs could be better, I have a hard time holding the ice with them, especially bigger cubes.

I removed my previous review as it is now irrelevant; to summarize, the base is made with two pieces and mine were installed 180° off, rendering the notches to hold the tools upright useless. An entire replacement was promptly sent (in a new color for variety), so now I have two wonderful bar kits. Unfortunately only one set is dishwasher safe, but that was the replacement, I had chosen one without that benefit. The set itself is solid, feels great, looks great, but most importantly, works great. No leaks in the shaker, the seal is tight without much effort. Everything else works as expected, and hopefully will last a long time! One odd thing, the Hawthorne strainer I the first set seems to have a loose bit in it because something rattles around, we thought it was a weird feature until we found the second one didnt rattle. The customer service was the best part, very kind and efficient. I contacted their support through text message. Sarah received my initial inquiry about the base and was quick to confirm details and get a replacement lined up within 24 hours. I received the replacement less than a week later.
