For a few dollars more than the cheapest cb here on Amazon this one has Auto Squelch and other features that are only available on more expensive radios it was a easy decision. Quickly tap EMG and then CB/PA On PI hold PTT then channel up to 5A Release PTT Channel up to AI Push PTT channel down to 0A Release PTT Restart Radio

Functions as it should, I do not use the auto squelch, prefer the slight hiss. 3mm machine screws needed to mount the mic holder were not included. Still searching , only need 2, not a package of 50. Hidden functions are yet to be determined. Gimmick functions are ok. Do not loose the manual, the push two/three buttons at a time functions are not obvious. Speaker is clear. I like the 4 pin mic plug as opposed to the plastic snap plugs on other brands. For $70, paired with a $20 antenna its a pretty good choice for an average traveler.

Im glad I got this one. I used the president antenna and didnt need to adjust anything when I checked the swr. Really impressive. Havent tried the PA yet. Still looking for a speaker.

good radio for the money

Very nice CB radio. Perfect for those who dont want all that fancy gadgets. Small enough to put in a small car or truck. I havent found anything to dislike about this CB radio.

nice radio great features for the buck. mic is a bit small 4 my liking so i fitted this with an astatic mic and easy operation.

Love this CB I can talk to my buddy 18 miles away with my tuned Firestick

It works well, its great quality, really good price, one issue i had was it doesn’t have the best mount, its hard to mount in some cars, which isn’t exactly this products fault but the screws were too small to mount on my dash

I own a general Lee, hp40, mirage, galaxy, pres richard and of all of those I have been asked more questions about the adams. Clear as a radio gets. The recurve in this radio is so good it’s annoying at times because it picks up ALL of the skip. Out of the box it takes a linear better than any of the aforementioned radios and dead keys 200 on a 250 linear. Real good for a 3.5 watt. Also the reason I got it to begin with is it the fact it’s the only pres that takes a 4 pin mic. It’s a one trick pony but that one trick outperforms radios at almost 10 times it’s price ( ones you get it tuned get new misfits etc). Can’t go wrong with this one!!
