Why that ring forms I do not know but this pumice stone gets I off without damaging the porcelain. The handle makes it easy to use without getting your hands in the toilet water. So glad it was recommended to me by m niece.

I wish Id taken a picture. I really didnt expect this to work! Ive tried toilet bowl cleaner, Borax and vinegar, CLR, baking soda and vinegar...and nothing worked..until this! This product was easy, amazing and effective. Hard water stains are gone on all 4 of our toilets. Now I wont be embarrassed to have guests use our bathrooms. Im just astonished at how quickly and easily this worked. I would definitely recommend trying this!

Works as promised. Toilet had black streaks that would not come off even after serious scrubbing. Took a couple times, but this thing finally got rid of the streaks.
