Greater than one weekso far it appears to be an overpriced Vive wand. no finger tracking. judging by the way they have placed the button B, they are ready to abandon finger tracking completely no user manual in the box. there is only a piece of paper directing you to the pimax.com. unfortunately pimax.com does not have installation manual for Swords either. I got it as a replacement for broken down Valve Index controller - there is absolutely no official info on how to do this setup . in fact, there is no support page for Swords at all. you are on your own on the bright side, once you get it running it appears to work fine. positioning is good, buttons work good. the trackpad feels weird, but I think it can be used to the grip feels weird. in bitsaber I get a constant feeling its slipping out of my hand

> 3 dayThe Sword controllers seems to be a combination of Oculus, Vive, and the Valves controllers. Its has Oculuss easy to hold handles, and its light weight dynamics,. It has Valves knuckle straps that keep my fingers free for when I have to do something else with my hands such as adjust settings on the computer, but the controllers are too small for Adult men’s hands and it doesnt have finger tracking. Pimax Controllers also has Vives track pad instead of Thumb joystick controllers. Which was a BIG mistake. The track pads are annoying and too sensitive when playing most games. My finger sometimes brush against part of the track pad by accident causing me to move in the game when I didnt mean to. I cannot understand for the life of me… why Pimax put a track pad on their sword controllers instead of Thumb Joysticks like Valve Index and Oculus Quest. Movement is much more precise with Thumb Joysticks, and the directional buttons are separated from the press(ENTER) buttons. These Controllers are practically trash.

> 3 dayAfter many trials and comparisons between the Swords and the Index controllers, Id say that the Index beats them by a few points. Here are the differences between the two: • Swords have interchangeable batteries that are easy to find in Amazon • I couldnt try the finger tracking because its not available yet (hopefully soon) • Trackpads are finicky and a lil hard to get used to • Swords do not weight enough to realize youve been doing long beatsaber sessions TL;DR If you can get Index controllers, go for those. If you wanna try something new with almost all functions as the index controllers, give these a try

> 3 dayThe Pimax Sword controllers are really well made, they delivered pretty fast, and Pimax does a really good job at caring for their customers. Make sure you use the PiTool software (download is on their website) to setup the controllers and that you have at least one base station, because I didnt know about the app and it made setting up more of a pain than it shouldve been. The controllers track amazingly with little to no tracking loss, and they fit nicely in my hands. Thank you again Pimax!
