I guess the item works ok, but the battery compartment completely broke off of the string lights so they are now useless.

No remote or timer. This is hanging in my daughters room and would have loved for it to have a timer to automatically shut off when she is a sleep. Other than that…they are super cute and she loves it. So win win for me.
