> 3 dayWe live in a humid climate and having water resistant packing tape works a lot better than paper-based packing tape. Also it resists friction that caused paper tape to wear out. Acrylic tape is a lot stronger than paper tape as well. Do not use this tape on surfaces where the adhesive can stick to the surface when you remove the tape. Taking the adhesive off these surfaces can be difficult and youll need Goofoff or other adhesive remover to get it off.

Frustrated - who needs to buy new tape now
> 3 dayI had hoped this was the same tape a moving company used, but it is definitely not the same. Ive been assembling boxes for moving and starting to pack - and the tape pops off the box! Stay away from this product.

> 3 day…. the tape has trouble staying stuck to moving boxes. Still, it holds as well as most tapes Ive used. It seem most tape is ridiculously expensive, so in fairness, these rolls give you double what you might buy elsewhere. It sticks well to itself, so if you wrap it around your boxes - taping the tape to tape - it holds fine. A bit of a pain for moving boxes though. Again the rolls are big- so at least you have tape to spare. For the price, Id buy again.

> 3 dayMy coverage and adhesion ratings (best to worst) 1. ProTapes 184HD (quite obscure, very sticky, expensive) 2. Classic Scotch packaging tape (mostly obscure, sticky enough, expensive-ish) 3. PerfectTape brown packing tape (mostly obscure, sticky enough, affordable) 4. Home Depot clear tape (clear, usually sticky enough, affordable) 5. Scotch masking tape (dont use for packages) Considering cost, PerfectTape is the winner (I wish it had a bit more pigment)
