> 24 hourIm 5 4, 118lbs and the size chart said small, but medium is what fit me best. Then again, Im in my 50s and carry weight differently, so they may be more true to size if youre younger and have no tummy pooch. These bunch up ever so slightly in the front pocket area, giving them a bit of a mom-jean look. I recommend these for weekends and going to a friends to be comfy and watch a movie, worn with a longish t-shirt or comfy sweatshirt. It was a hot day today and I actually wore them horseback riding which worked out quite nicely, and I have decided that they might just be my new summer riding jeans. These jeans are definitely not something youd wear when youre caring about your appearance, such as work or a party. I wore mine to work last week and felt a wee bit uncomfortable, feeling like I was wearing old lady jeans. I only gave these 4 stars because they were portrayed in the pajama jean catalog to look like everyday jeans, however they dont pass for regular jeans as much as the photos suggest.

> 24 hourThese are very comfortable and Im glad I took a chance on them. They are thicker and more substantial than yoga pants or pajama pants (they would be too heavy to use literally as pajama pants). They look and feel more like stretchy skinny jeans. They appear to be a finely ribbed knit. If you look at them from 4 feet away or less you can see very narrow ribbing lines, much thinner than corduroy lines. I think it looks good given the color. The faded stone wash look was exactly as in the picture. I will comment a bit on how they fit on me for the benefit of women who might be a similar size. Im 56 and 110 ten pounds, have a mommy pouch (not a narrow waist), and have a relatively flat bottom. Im not curvy or hourglass shaped, I have more of a boyish figure. I usually wear a size 2 (US) in womens pants, a size 5 in juniors pants, and a 26 or 27 in waist sized jeans. I have a 30-31 inseam. I chose an X-small and it works fairly well for me although just a tad loose. An XXS might work better, but Im afraid it may be less comfortable and harder to put on (update: I tried XXS and it was way too small). The waist was a bit too loose on me in XS but I could adjust it with the drawstring if I wanted (I dont bother tying the drawstring since I dont tuck in my shirt). The waist is 2 below my navel. In inseam, I might have preferred 1 inch less but they dont touch the floor and the extra inch will guard against shrinkage. With my 56 height, they were about .5-1 longer than on the woman in the photo. The XS allowed me to pull it over my hips in 1-2 seconds. I wouldnt have wanted pants where it took me many seconds to take off and put on every time I used the bathroom. They are slightly harder to get on than yoga pants or pajama pants since less stretchy, but are still more stretchy than my other stretchy jeans that have zippers. The XS ones feel perfect for me on days Im sitting a lot (since they are not constricting in the knees) but if Im going out on the town I might prefer ones that are more painted-on. (Update: I tried the XXS, and they were so much smaller I couldnt even get them over my hips, XXS is like a 00 might fit a preteen only). On a person with slim or average lower calves and ankles, these are skinny jeans, not jeggings because there is about 1.5 inches of looseness at the ankle. In other words, they dont look like tights. With these jeans you would not want to tuck in your shirt because the top of the zipper looks fake and there is no button or belt loops to help with the realism. That is fine with me since I usually wear untucked shirts with jeans anyway. I think they should make another version of this with 1 higher rise that has belt loops and a button above the fake zipper, and that would make it practical for wearing with shirt tucked in. With my slender build, they were low rise but not too much so, there was no problem with showing too much (like a plumber) when sitting down. The best thing is the faded color which makes them look like denim jeans. All faded jeans these days seem to be more faded in the butt and thighs and the same is true with these, maybe thats the trending style but I would prefer a bit more even fading. So far they seem to bounce back and not become baggy. Update: after trying them on again just now, I do believe they have stretched a little to be somewhat bigger all over than the first time I put them on, but still not bagging unevenly in the knees or anything like that. They did not retain a chemical smell (which seemed to originate from the plastic mailing bag) after being washed. All of the pockets (front and back) are real and functional. Overall, I love them. I always avoided pajama jeans in the past because formerly they were only available in dark navy rinse color which I dont prefer in regular jeans either.

> 24 hourThese are not jeans or pajamas, so youll be disappointed on both ends. The ONLY reason Im keeping them is because I just had surgery and these have a lower rise than any of my real jeans, and no irritating button or zipper. But thats it. The drawstring is annoying and uncomfortable. They should have an elastic waist, not drawstring. Yes, I knew that before purchasing, but I figured I may not need to tie and untie the drawstring if the pants have plenty of stretch (like actual pajama pants with drawstrings that nobody actually uses). But this fabric has virtually ZERO stretch. The waistband is rigid and uncomfortable. IF you can manage to wriggle it over your hips, it will gape at the waist and you will have to use the drawstring... Tying and untying it multiple times a day. As a chronically ill mom of three, aint nobody got time for that. Definitely not worth the $$ I paid, but Im desperate right now, so they have me over a barrel. Also, the leg openings are not like normal skinny jeans. They widen out to almost a straight leg from the knee down, resulting in a jean thats a cross between a skinny jean and a bootcut. Very disappointed.

> 24 hourDisappointed & sent back. Too big and waist huge and were way short even for my height of 52. Ordered a petite but it was a very short petite.

> 24 hourNot sure what theyve done to change them. My old mediums still fit, but the mediums Ive ordered lately are too tight and the larges are way too big. Tried different cuts - it doesnt matter. Ive worn Pajama jeans for two decades, but they just dont work for me anymore. Gave them three stars because I know they work for somebody.

> 24 hourI regularly where jag jeans. I’m 5’4 8/10 size Ending on brand sometimes I can wear a six but that’s in Jag Jean pull ons. I bought the Pajama jeans. Compare and possibly save some money. The pajama Jean fabric is very comfortable but the cut in the fit not so much Especially for a curvy woman’s body. Maybe for a younger girl but not so much for me ...the waist band has a little like shoestring tie that sits just above the hip bone , they are just at my bellyButton So a horrible fit for any kind of tummy issues. I love the fabric, it’s soft, and feels like pajamas, I just wish the waistband were different and they weren’t so long. But I did wear them with tucked into some vintage cowgirl boots and a long sweater to a movie... but My Jag jeans fit is just all around better Because I don’t want to be wasteful and they are comfortable fabric Wise, I’ll wear them around the house When I don’t feel like getting all the way dressed but need to get out of my pajamas.... If you can afford it I suggest for women who have tummy issues and that gap issue that thing that happens above the butt that meets the waist ... I don’t get that with Jag jeans at all and I do still get that with the pajama jeans even with that shoe string tie which is very uncomfortable by the way ... I like and need a little extra help holding things together you know what I’m talking about. Jag jeans for me fit that bill.

> 24 hourI love my pajama jeans. I have five pairs. The first pair I ordered were large, as recommended, but they are too large. The second pair fits perfectly. The third pair is a little tight pulling over my hips, but I still love them. The fourth and fifth pairs, which includes the olive pair I’m reviewing, do not fit as the original pair. I thought I could count on consistency of fit. I’m saving the last two pairs, until I lose a few of the Covid inches.

> 24 hourI had to return because they were too short for my sister. She is 6 feet tall, and these came to her upper ankle. Other than that, they were nice. The color is good, faded in all the right places, to flatter the butt and the legs. They are very soft, too. But they were too short for my very tall sister. Theres drawstring if they are too big in the waist.
