OWC 2.5-Inch Drive Sled Mount for Apple Mac Pro

> 3 dayQuality aluminum bracket on par with original apple drive sleds for 3.5 fit SSD right into old drive slot. of course a 500mb/sec SSD will only get 300mb/sec in the built in slots, but good enough for some purposes where max speed isnt critical.

Greater than one weekLooks plastic but it’s not. Comes with screws to attach SSD to tray. As sturdy as the original.

Greater than one weekFirst attempt to add a new drive to my Mac Pro. Extraordinarily easy. Once the ssd and drive sled arrived, all I had to do was secure the drive to the sled with the 4 screws provided, insert the sled/drive into the Mac Pro and power it up. Had to format the drive and everything works as it should. Way easier to do than I expected.

> 3 dayThough the price seems a bit much for a simple sled as this, it looks nice, is well built and works as it should in my MacPro 5.1. If I were to replace more drives with SSDs in the future, this is probably the sled I will purchase.

> 3 dayI like these drive sleds but they are overly expensive for what you are getting. I wish they were half the price I paid as I have found cheaper options.
