You just add banking soda so it’s the same basically as putting the little cardboard box in I guess but this is way more aesthetically pleasing and imo sanitary (can’t speak to the type of cardboard used for baking soda because it’s thinner than say a moving box, but cardboard boxes in general tend to house and carry insect eggs which I prefer to avoid as much as possible)

Fun and useful but is top heavy. If something in the fridge brushes up against it, he falls over and spills baking soda.

I have a lot that I put in my refrigerator and sometimes it can smell. This worked well at getting rid of smells coming from foods in the refrigerator. I give it 4 stars because if I have it in the door or the back because I put a lot in my fridge I nock it over all the time and it creates a mess.

Fits perfectly in our egg compartment & makes our fridge smell fresh. I love that I dont have to leave a whole box of baking soda in the fridge that will eventually deteriorate because of the moisture.

Love this! Be careful though, the lid pops off , easily, making a mess

The only downside is it tips over way too easily. Even when I put it in the side door compartment, it always falls over.

The mushroom wobbles and will fall over easily. Can be very messy. Would not buy again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but it’s frustrating that there is a line seam right down the front of the mushrooms face. Conveniently none of the stock photos show any kind of seam especially down the middle of the face. Looking at a few review photos it seems to be a common occurrence and I didn’t just get a faulty one. Sadly I will be returning it because it bothers me.
