To be clear the sound quality will never be as good as an equivalent pair of headphones or in ear earbuds due to the lack of noise cancellation that would defeat the purpose of an open ear design for most people. If you want an open ear design to be able to hear your surroundings while listening then I would recommend these over a pair of Shokz as the sound quality is comparable, these are more comfortable IMO, and these are about half the price of a refurbished pair of Shokz.
