I was surprised at how solid this thing is. I expected it to be light aluminum or a like a cheap paperweight. This was not the case! This thing is solid and well built. This does not slide unless I am forcefully moving it. It has good grip and protective layer so that it does not scratch the desk or MacBook Pro. Im glad I purchased this one verse the more expensive ones.

Perfect buy. The stand is made out of a good quality material, feels sturdy and does the job. It saves a lot of space on my desk and looks stylish. Im very happy with the purchase.
