Ive put several laptops in here horizontally and vertically oriented. Its easy to adjust and very stable.

I purchased this stand for use with a Macbook Pro 13. Its a sturdy unit that requires a few adjustments on your part for sizing requirement. On my unit, the adjustments covers from 14mm up to 65mm. The color I ordered is Gray but if you intend on using it for a Mac, be aware that the shade is not a Space Gray. The finish is a shinier, coarser grain when compared to the Mac finish. The Omoton logo is painted on one side of the stand. I really did not care as long as it worked as designed and it does but not for my needs. The problems I have with this stand is due to the machining and finishing quality. The stand has some very sharp unfinished corner edges on it that will scratch up the finish of your laptop if you have no protective case on it and are not careful when placing it in the stand. In addition, the design does not allow adequate airflow if you place your laptop with the hinge side down in the stand as pictured in the manufacturers photos. This will affect any laptop with cooling vents in the rear. Placing your laptop upside down will solve the cooling issue but if your computer is heavier at the hinges, you make the stand a little top heavy and that could possibly damage your screen if the width adjustments are too loose and your laptop leans towards the screen side. Unfortunately for me, the price was good and the stand was functional, but I didnt want to put any clothes on my Macbook Pro. I prefer to use it naked...

This is exactly what Id hoped for. Good heft, feels super solid, and adjusting it to exactly the right size for my laptop took only a minute or two. Its fantastic. Now I just need to hope that my mac can cool itself enough while closed.

The omoton stand fits my needs perfectly. I just set it up with my Lenovo laptop and I now have lot’s of space on my desk.

My husband wanted to organize my desk and so he bought this for me. I didnt Think I’d use it but sure enough, i love It. It hold my MacBook in place and i can Hook it to my docking station as well.

Stand is great. Its very easy to adjust and all sides that touch anything are well padded with a rubbery surface. The surface finish could be better (some of the paint came chipped a little) but at this price its unbeatable. In regard to use this is definitely a 5/5, and at this price id say overall also deserves a 5/5.
