This is one of the worst laptop stands I have ever dealt with. As a college student, I was looking for something portable and safe for my MacBook to be on top of. As time went on it got worse until it got to the point of falling apart on me randomly. This has caused a chip in my MacBook case and I am grateful that I had a case on it cause my screen would have cracked! Do not purchase one of these! It does what its supposed to, cant really complain about anything. I do wish I had bought something adjustable instead, but for the price this was not a bad buy at all. I use it with a 16 inch macbook which is quite heavy, and this stand holds it very sturdily.
