The stand is difficult t use on a desk due to it raising the height too much. It bothered my shoulders to type. If you were standing it might work. The product is sturdy and looks great though. Just didn’t work for my needs.

Great dock for my work laptop and very sturdy. Feels and looks well made. Work laptop fits very well on it.

It is not made of plastic. The space in between acts as a cooling area for the laptop. , very sturdy and simple to assemble & dis mantle if needed to store away

Holds a MBP 2015 15 without problem, there is some slight slippage, but not enough to present any danger of falling.
