Greater than one weekThe laptop is 16.24 x 12 x 0.91 in according to Amazon. It does not fit in this bag as the top corners overlap the zipper. Maybe the listing should mentioned the size of the inner compartment instead of just saying that it would hold 17.3 laptops in the text and images.
