> 24 hourI can add this item to the ongoing list of stuff that didnt even exist when I was a kid that Ive purchased for my child. In this instance though, Im so glad I did! I live in VA where it gets blasting hot in the summer and I wanted a way to cool down my son quickly. I went back and forth about whether I should get something for his car seat or get this. I ended up choosing this since I didnt want to have to constantly re-adjust an insert that goes in the carseat. While it seems like a totally superfluous purchase, Im really glad I got this. I got the black 8ft one-the 6ft one probably would have been sufficient for my 4 door sedan, but I wanted to make sure it was long enough without having to return it. Im glad I got the 8ft one since I have it attached to the center passenger side vent and I have it running down the inside of the passenger seat and into the backseat. I dont think the 6ft length would be long enough to have maneuverability that the longer length has. If you have a smaller sedan, a Corolla size, it will probably work. I have a Kia Optima and went with the 8ft length. Its an easy hookup, its literally just zip ties that you use to connect to the slats in the vent. I was expecting a little more professional looking installation, but I guess it works. I had a hard time getting it to attach to the vents so that it would stay centered on the vents with day to day driving. I ended up rigging it a little bit by cutting strips of command hook adhesive into narrow strips and adhering it to the top and bottom of the noggle/vent. It now works perfectly. If you cut the strips straight, it even looks like thats how its supposed to be. Their recommended install could use a little work, but with the command strips, it works. Since my son on rear-facing and wasnt getting any air in my car, this was a totally worthwhile purchase since I no longer worry about him being too hot while Im running errands.

> 24 hourIt took me 4 or 5 minutes to get the zip tie through the vent (the first few minutes I tried on my own, unsuccessfully, then I looked at the paper instructions --not the ones on the box-- and saw to bend the zip tie). It went straight through. The rectangular vent cover fit perfectly over my Jeep Grand Cherokee vent. I was thinking I might add leftover foam insulation tape that I have from a window AC unit to get a better seal and help keep it in place, but it works great without it. Hopefully it continues to function as well as it is now. Im very happy with this purchase. With the hot weather just starting for the season, I know my son is going to be much happier in his car seat.

> 24 hourA little pricey for essentially a tube, but worth it. I live in FL and it’s absolutely necessary. Cuts down on the wait time on turning the car and waiting and waiting for it to cool down before putting baby in. Also keeps him more cool and comfy during the ride. Would recommend to any parent in a hot climate

> 24 hourThis helped my daughter who gets very car sick. Cool air seems to help and we arent always able to open the window. The only negatives were the rubber smell from the tube, will probably go away with use, and the fact that my husband had to jury rig a piece of cardboard to cover the sides of the vent or there wasn’t enough air flow. Also as a bonus it makes a great way to play “telephone” from the front to the back:)

> 24 hourThis is an absolute must for those of you without vents in the back seat. The noggle is bulky but its worth it. Perfect for my baby in the back seat and dogs in the third now. I highly recommend.

> 24 hourI was skeptical about this when I first bought it, but after a few uses I was sold. My daughter used to overheat very quickly in her car seat. Shed fuss and cry, when I pulled her out of her chair shed be so sweaty! With the Noggle she stays happy much longer in her chair and is no longer super sweaty when I take her out. It does take a little finagling to get it set up well enough to withstand some thing hitting it. I had my excited dog in the front seat and she put her paws on it and snapped my A/C vent plastic. Thankfully you cant tell. I hooked it up again, but this time anchoring it to a thicker piece of the A/C vent and a clip to wedge it in better. So far no mishaps, and Im much better about unhooking it when its not needed. I have so many people ask me about it too! So be prepared to explain what the heck that thing is and everyone asking you where they can get one once you tell them what it does!

> 24 hourGood product but the packaging it came in was beat up and looks like it was previously used… It also did not come with the Retractable ties that it says it comes with.

> 24 hourDefinitely a must buy in Arizona heat! I was wary but as soon as I installed it and tested it I was amazed! My backseats have no ac so I had to find something to help my toddler out in the summer. I got the 8 ft long one and it’s longer than expected but I’m glad so I can place it anywhere I want to! Worth the money and worth the wait. Also the name is just great

> 24 hourThe idea is good, but the one I got must have been defective. After 8 hours of my suv in the sun it blew hot air out for the first 5 min or so, and even at that the airflow was minimal (AC blows cold air almost instantly). I looked in the tubing with a flashlight and realized that part of the material used to make the item was clogging the airway, making it more or less useless. I was tempted to take it apart and trim the material away, but I would have had to buy material at the hardware store to put it back together... and after spending 50 bucks on the noggle in the first place that really didnt appeal to me. If you spend money on something like that it shouldnt need to be tampered with to work. The zip tie they give you to attach to the vent is nice and thick, but unfortunately strapping it tight enough to prevent air from escaping out the side bent the vent and I was worried it would break it. The product is pretty solid and does have a little weight to it coming off of your vent. Even holding the noggle straight up to my vent only produced what I would describe as a number one setting out of the end of the tube... and that was after I placed my AC on high. Good idea... but I want to the hardware store and spent 9 dollars and rigged up something very similar that produced a heck of a lot more air flow. Again mine had some material obstructing the airway so maybe others would have worked better. for the price... i would hope so. Awesome idea... and if it had really worked as described I would have kept it. As it was I needed something that worked quickly and once I had my homemade contraption I lost the taste for spending 5 times that one something covered in fabric. I ended up returning mine. Note: I did not tamper with it. I only attempted to use it as it was designed. You can tell though on inspection it is put together in such a way that it will not come apart on its own.

> 24 hour**Edited** Original review below, outlining the issue we encountered. I contacted Amazons customer service immediately after posting this review & they responded very promptly. They offered us 3 very fair resolutions to choose from. As for the product - Were still missing a very important piece to install it in my car BUT we tested it out by holding it up to the vent in our house & it worked better than I anticipated! I read some mixed reviews & ultimately decided to order it still because some okay-ish air in the back seat is better than none, considering I have no rear vents. I think this will work just fine. IF WE INSTALL & ARE NOT PLEASED, then Ill update this again :) Im pretty furious right now. Ordered the Amazon-inspected, like new Noggle (which had previously been returned & was described as having damage to the package but not the product) and it arrived today. Its missing one zip tie, which I can live without. Its missing a small (presumably velcro) strap shown on the picture to help secure the tube to a handle or headrest, which I could fashion out of plain Velcro and can live without. ***But most importantly, its missing the rectangular dash plate - which I researched before purchasing to make sure it would include, because I didnt anticipate a round tube connecting to my square vents! The box conveniently had an Amazon inspected sticker over the missing part on the list of included pieces, which I cant help but feel was intentional as the same sticker is located on the front middle of the box as well. So in 3 days its going to be 85 degrees & my baby has a doctors appointment in town & my car has no rear vents & I was counting on this item to help keep him comfortable. How wonderful. So this poor rating isnt a reflection of the product, its a reflection of my disappointment with Amazon.
