> 3 dayIve bought a bunch of CPU coolers and case fans from Noctua over the last few years, and I think I will continue to. This unit was the largest I could fit into my mITX case and its been great. Quiet and efficient, just what I want for a lounge room PC build. You pay a little extra for Noctua quality, but you probably be able to put it in your next PC, given the longevity of their equipment. Definitely recommended.

> 3 dayI built an upgraded high end creator/gaming PC in the Thermaltake Commander (C34 model) and outfitted it with 2 Noctua 200mm / 2 140mm and 3 120mm fans (two on Noctua U12 cooler). My overclocked Ryzen 9 has zero problems with heat with no water cooling, and is still very quiet.

Greater than one weekHandily beats the stock AMD cooler that came with my Ryzen 3600X; temperatures are 10C lower at idle and the fan is virtually silent. It is a bit of a pain to install as you need to fuss with it a bit to get the screw-downs on the cooler crossbar to line-up with the threaded posts on the mounting bracket. Based on past experience, Im sure the Cooler Master Hyper 212 would have been nearly as effective for $20+ less, but when you want the best...

Greater than one weekEasy to install, noise level is quiet unless your running a very heavy cpu oriented program then the fan is noticeable. This cooler is sufficient for light over clocking but not if you want to push your system.
