Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Used with a Ryzen 5 2600x and my temperatures, which were a problem while gaming and streaming, are perfect. At stock cpu settings with overclocked RAM, my cpu never goes over 65 degrees C. Under stress test of 100% load, cpu never exceeded 72 degrees C after 15 mins.

This is the easiest aftermarket cooler install I have every done. It just screws into place. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Never during the process did I feel lost or unsure of what to do next. This is the complete opposite of my experience installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on my dads work machine a week after I built my computer with the Noctua. Yes the Evo is a lot cheaper, but I am willing to pay for this convenience. The other coolers Ive installed from years ago (a Cooler Master V8 and Prolimatech Megahalem) were also not as easy.

I recently bought a new CPU and the stock cooler I was using was not adequate. The CPU was reaching 95C under load. Noctua was recommended by a friend so I ordered one to give it a try. Now, the CPU never gets above 75C. It was simple to install and is very quiet. This is by far the best CPU cooler I’ve ever used.

I got this to replace Arctic Freezer 34 CO for my AMD 5800x CPU to hopefully decrease 5800x temps which runs very hot unlike any other AMD CPU of same generation. Unfortunately there is no temperature difference or all core clock boost difference between Arctic Freezer and this Noctua, using same thermal paste. Even in terms of noise - this Noctua cooler is just as loud as the 34 CO when fan is at max speed. And the mounting system is not significantly better in terms of ease of mounting. So if you want to save yourself some money - go with Arctic Freezer 34 CO.

Noctua lives up to their reputation. Although their color choices dont mesh with the usual color scheme, entheusists can immediately tell if the builder knows their stuff based on Noctuas unique color scheme. You can spend a bit more for the all black version if you really want to color coordinate.

Muy buen disipador, con capacidad para aumentar su disipacion.. Es un poco grande asi que tomen medidas antes de conprarlo.. 100% recomendado.. Lo tengo en un ryzen 5 1600X OC en 4.2 y tira GW2, GTA V, WoT, SAO: Fatal Billet sin pasar de 45-47 grados C en modalidad silenciosa.

I hate noise. I love Noctua. I replace fans in most of my equipment with Noctua fans. I can no longer hear my CPU so thats 1 item off the list.

Used over AMD Ryzen 7 1700X without OC, with dual Noctua chromax NF12 fans in push/pull mode and prolimatech PK3 thermal paste. IDLE: 32C, Full: 44C

This product has helped keep my overclocked cpu temps between 25-30c when idle, and 60c when gaming for long hours. I replaced the fan with one of Noctua’s industrial fan and I love it so far. I ajusted the fan speeds with a fan curve which has help keep the fan quiet at low temps. This product is worth the money!
