> 3 dayI get the same temps with the NH-U12S as I do with the NH-D14 on my Intel Core-i970...and its much smaller and easier to install. Noctuas quality is superb, the hex they provide you with is ALL you need for the entire operation (including MB removal for mounting bracket). Fan color scheme is ...all Noctua classic :)...it could be better, but its Nocuta original...

> 3 daySuperb CPU cooler, should also be compatible with most motherboards and not block off RAM or PCIe slots.

> 3 dayIve built many pcs and I always replace the stock heatsink fan with a quieter one. This one is not only super quiet, it also does an excellent job of cooling my 125 watt AMD FX 8350 processor. I did purchase a 2nd Noctua fan to go with it along with replacing my pc case fans with Noctua fans as well. An extra plus is that Noctua gives very clear, step by step, instructions (leaving nothing for chance). It also came with Noctuas proprietary heatsink thermal paste which was extremely easy to apply and work with. I need to mention that one of the reasons it is super quiet is that it is designed to allow the motherboard to adjust the fan speed. When I use the bios to set the fan speed to standard its super quiet and when I set the fan speed to silent I hear nothing. Since the cpu temp rarely goes above 40 C when set to silent, thats where Ive been keeping it.
