> 3 dayInstalled this, on a Intel I7-9700, which is installed on a Asus Z390-A motherboard, which is attached to a CoolerMaster 500m case. Averaging low 30C at idle and mid to upper 50C while playing Steam games. The fan is relatively quiet even when running at 80% rate. What else to say...just buy it.

> 3 dayDissipatore a dir poco eccellente che ha diminuito le temperature di 15° rispetto a quello stock Intel, non passando mai i 55-58° (piena estate ora come ora) con load al 100%. Rumore delle ventole sempre minimo. Montato sul case ThermalTake v9 BlacX Edition MidTower e ci entra a pelo, facendo rimanere un paio di millimetri tra le pipes ed il pannello laterale. Unica pecca se così vogliamo dire è la colorazione delle ventole (sempre fedele al marchio Noctua) che può far storcere il naso ad alcuni, ma comunque un dettaglio che si può sorvolare se tenete in considerazione le performance di questo dissipatore. Indicato più per OC. Che dire, consigliatissimo.

> 3 dayHo preso questo dissipatore perché quello stock del mio i5 3570k non raffreddava più in maniera ottimale,temperature sempre sui 50 in idle e a volte 80 in full load.Per il mio case Aerocool Xpredator X1 che supporta dissi alti max 158 cm è il top.Le recensioni qui e sui vari siti internet non mentono è davvero straordinario.Imballaggio e accessori di prima qualità davvero non si riesce a trovare una nota negativa.Riguardo alla dissipazione nel mio case ora cè linverno.Temperature in idle sempre sui 29 gradi (tenete conto che ora in estate in camera mia ci sono 20-25 gradi) e in full load arrivo massimo a 60° (testato con 10 giri di ibt).Inoltre se comprate la seconda ventola opzionale riuscite a guadagnare qualche altro grado in più e quindi potete fare anche qualche oc leggero.

> 3 dayJust brilliant. Its sheer bulk is quite surprising, but it fitted onto my (ASUS Z87 Pro) mobo and into my (HAF 912+) case with no issues. Yes you can hear the fan at full speed, but if this fan is frequently running at full speed you have other issues that need looking at. Incredibly, the fan hangs around the 200-230rpm when idle and the CPU (i7 4790) temp stays around 24 degrees. Under load, the fan will shift up to 300-500rpm and still remain utterly silent. Loaded CPU temp hits a 37 degree ceiling and has not yet gone above it.

Greater than one weekI swapped out the single fan for two Noctua ippc 3000s in push-pull (using the extra clip included with this heatsink), and after tweaking fan curves, I cant get my overclocked 8th gen i5 over 60 degrees C, even using torture tests that put every core at a constant 100%. Obviously I need to overclock it more; I started at a multiplier recommended by folks who have liquid coolers. So the point is, this thing works better than most liquid coolers. It will probably last longer, too. Yes, it is expensive for an air cooler. The cost difference is for precision manufacturing that makes this easy to install and very, VERY effective.

> 3 dayIch habe jetzt zum zweiten Mal einen Noctua Turmkühler im Rechner, diesmal auf einem Ryzen 3700X. Der mitgelieferte Wraith Prism Kühler ist nicht ganz so schlecht, tut was er soll, aber wenn man einen, zur CPU passenden, Noctua einbaut, da liegen Welten zwischen. Das fängt schon bei der Temperatur ohne Last an, einfach nur den Desktop ansehen (Linux Mint), Chrome offen und diese Rezension schreiben. 33 Grad. 9 Grad weniger als mit dem AMD Kühler. Dann einen Software Path-Tracer (ohne GPU Unterstützung) gestartet, der auf allen Kernen mit vollem Fließkomma-Einsatz ein 4k Bild rendert, Laufzeit ca. 4 Std. Maximale Temperatur 61 Grad. 10 Grad weniger als der Wraith Prism. Sagenhaft.
