Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan (Brown)

I bought this cooler because my i7 4790k was hitting 70+ underload, even after turning the fans to 100%. Got this cooler, installation was a bit of a pain, but as easy as installing a intel stock cooler. I did have to reapply thermal paste because I couldnt get one of the screws in. However, I got the system running and I could instantly see that this cooler was doing wonders. I very rarely go over 50c now. Highly recommended!.

Easy to install, quiet and effective. I also know Noctua will supply mounting kits for future CPU designs (as long as the base plate is still compatible). Hopefully this cooler will last for many years.

It was a bit difficult to install onto an Intel LGA 1151 motherboard. There are two screws on springs, and its tricky to get the screws to align properly. After installing, its been operating perfect. Dead silent.

He cambiado hace un par de semanas (con ola de calor castellano de por medio) el radiador y ventilador que venia con mi procesador amd (125w tdp) por este NH-U12S de Noctua, y la diferencia es increíble, con el de serie ( limpio de polvo) se mantenía el procesador a su tope de temperatura (70ºC) con el ventilador metiendo estruendo a mas de 3000 rpm, y con este noctua el procesador esta de normal a 8ºC o 9ºC por encima de la temperatura ambiente y a unos 50ºC funcionando el procesador a tope, y esto con el ventilador girando entre 500/800 rmp sin que lo puedas oír.

Currently cooling an i7 7700k with one. Put a spare noctua fan on the back for a push/pull arrangement. Noctua products are above all the rest!

Sin palabras. Perfecta. Tengo ya dos, una de 90 y este de 120. Ambas igual de buenas. No se escucha nada y mantienen el procesador a temperaturas que nunca alcanzan los 60 grados ni aun dándole caña.

good price, good performance

Use this to cool my 4790k. Its more than enough for my modest overclock (4.4GHz at stock voltage), great quality as expected from Noctua and very easy mounting system compared to the 212 EVO which has a terrible mount.

la vitesse est modulée automatiquement par la carte mère, de ce fait il tourne à faible vitesse, et est encore plus silencieux. branchez les fils au même endroit que le ventilateur précédant. attention: il faut souvent démonter la carte mère pour fixer le système de fixation à 4 pointes(plaque arrière) à larrière de cette carte. on peut quelquefois la démonter juste pour laisser passer la plaque arrière, en lécartant légèrement, sans débrancher tout les cables. attention aux dimension de votre boitier dordinateur: ne convient quaux boitiers dau moins 20 à 21 cm de large.( le mien fait 21 cm, et le ventilateur NH-U-12S rentre juste.
