Silenziosissimo e abbastanza compatto da poter entrare in quasi tutti i case mid tower senza intralciare le RAM (anche se vi consiglio di prendere quelle a basso profilo).

> 24 hourI bought this fan as a replacement for the factory heatsink / fan that came with my AMD FX-8350 (Running at stock speeds, no over clocking). I have a Corsair Carbide 300r case with a Noctua NF-A14 FLX 140mm intake fan in the front, a second Noctua NF-A14 FLX exhaust fan on top in the back mount (there are two mounts for fans on the top) and a Nexus 120mm exhaust fan in the rear. Under 100% load on all 8 cores with the factory heatsink Id see temps of 57c after 3 minutes and 59c after 4 minutes. Since the danger zone for damaging this CPU starts at 62c, too close for comfort for me.

> 24 hourRunning a 3770 K chip, slightly overclocked, and temps in the low 30s. Havent figured out how to set up the games yet (this is my first non-console experience), so I havent pushed the cpu. The Noctua pulls air over my HyperX memory, and even though the radiator surfaces are a bit smaller than the regular Noctua cooler, the U12S still functions great. Also have an oversize case with 2x200mm, 2x140mm, and 2x120mm fans which contribute to airflow and cooling (a 200mm and 140mm are very close to the Noctua and draw big air past it). Also very happy to have a beige and brown cooler as it is easy to identify as a Noctua.

> 24 hourReplacement for my old Zalman aluminium-copper cooler. I havent had the guts to move to liquid cooling yet, stories of leaks and ruined graphics cards, loud pumps, so Ive stuck with old fashioned air cooling - even if the fans go, the heat sink will still dissipate some heat. The beauty about this cooler is that it uses standard case fans that simply clip on, so if they fail you can easily replace the fan. Additionally, I have high profile heat sinks on my memory, and needed the clearance. This cooler doesnt get in the way at all. Im running an old ASUS Sabertooth Z77 board.
