Not the cheapest cooler of its type, but worth it to me. It’s super easy to install, with either one fan or two. It comes with a spare bracket for a second fan, and the separate fan itself comes with many extras, including a Low-Noise Adaptor lead, which solved a noisy fan issue on a stock Intel cooler in another build. Fans are quiet and respond well to motherboard speed control. No complaints.

This is a fantastic product! I replaced a cooler master N520, that was a noisy 3 wire set up. I hooked up to my 4 wire PWM control/header on my motherboard and let the BIOS drive the fan. Now I cant hear my computer when its running. Only makes sound when I have a load on processor, and at that OMG its still insanely quiet. If you are building a silent machine, I would recommend this product.

Komplett zufrieden. Der Kühler ist echt super, er hat eine sehr gute Kühlleistung und ist sowas von leise, das er bei volllast nur ganz schwach zu hören ist, wenn es im Raum ruhig ist.

This Noctua CPU fan cooler for the LGA-1150 socket processors is simply amazing. What else can I say but that the construction is superb, with all high quality components, and excellent thermal paste included. But beyond the obvious high quality is something else youll notice right away ... or WONT notice, because this fan is so quiet that you cannot hardly hear it in operation, even when you put your ear up to your open CPU case. It really is that quiet, and it is quite apparent that Noctua actually did do all the wind testing and fan blade experimentation to end up with a fan this quiet. I highly recommend this for anyone wishing to build a quiet computer, and you can purchase the Noctua fans separately (apart from this CPU cooler) in just about every size, so you can retrofit an entire case with these, if you want.

This is over 6 tall and needs an appropriate case to fit in. The profile doesnt interfere with the RAM

I previously had the be quiet Dark Rock 3 cooler, and while silent on idle, it for some reason tended to fire up even when loading a page in Chrome, which was generally too loud for my liking, even after resitting it a couple of times on my i7-6700K.
