> 24 hourSlapped this baby onto a Ryzen 5 5600x, replacing the stock cooler. System is mounted inside a Corsair 5000D Airflow case with 3x120mm intake on front and 3x120mm exhaust on top all at 1300rpm and 26CFM, 0.89 mmH2O. Room ambient ~74F. Idle dropped from 54C down to 32C. Under load dropped from 81C down to 59C. Included quality thermal paste. Easy install. Well constructed. Virtually inaudible. Worth every penny IMHO. If youre shopping for an aftermarket cooler I would strongly suggest you place this one on your short list.

> 24 hourIch bin so glücklich mit diesem Kauf hatte davor eine Msi Maq Coreliqid 240r die ja dann zurück genommen wurde nur hab ich das zu spät erfahren und keiner konnte mir etwas erstatten. Mit der Wasserkühlung war mein AMD Rayzen 5 3600 Konstanz auf 47-55° in spielen wie apex Legends kanckte sie auch die 75° und das wollte ich nicht mehr also habe ich mich für den Noctua Nh-u12s entschieden.

> 24 hourKeeps my 3900x nice and cool inside my ITX rig. It’s a chromax cooler but doesn’t come with any other coloured bumpers for the fan which is a bit of a disappointment. What’s the point of it being “chromax” if you don’t include the bumper colours.

> 24 hourThe Noctua box the product came in was clearly damaged, despite no damage to the outside shipping box, and the rubber fan noise-isolation pads had obvious dust embedded in them. In addition to that, there were dented fins on the heatsink. This appears to be a returned unit that was then resold as new. Unfortunately this is a product I needed to solve an overheating problem with a PC I use for work, and as the damage was not substantial enough to affect cooling performance, I installed it anyway. Performance has been fine, as expected, but I am extremely disappointed. I bought Noctua as they have a good reputation for quality and customer service and this is not what I expected at all. Be very cautious buying this product.

> 24 hourThis cooler is phenomenal. Feels very premium, rock-solid mounting mechanism, easy to install, and very quiet. For 8-core CPUs and under its a great choice if you want something premium , lightweight, and compact.

> 24 hourCompré un 212 evo black y fue muy complicado de instalar, de hecho lo tuve que regresar al romper uno de los tornillos durante el montaje que parecía que no alineaban bien. Decidí gastar un poco más y comprar el noctua. De calidad de ventilación es lo mejor. Además el montaje es ultra sencillo. Nada de dolore sde cabeza para poder montarlo. Tengo un AMD4 tan solo por el hecho de no tener que batallar para montarlo lo volvería a comprar.

> 24 hourI needed a new cooler for my ASUS Z390 TUF-Gaming Plus WIFI ATX motherboard since I lost the mounting plates for previous cooler (switched from AMD to Intel CPU). I heard the Noctua fans were really quiet and like everyone else I really cant stand that brown color. The backplate for the classic EVO 212 was too tall for my case (Elite 430)- again typical problems with EVO 212 just being such an awkward size for so many systems. Thought Id give this a try because it looks awesome and have heard good things, and the price seemed reasonable.

> 24 hourGot it to cool my Ryzen 3600. It keeps it cool all whilst being very quiet. Million times better than the stock jet engine. Well worth the money.

> 24 hourI purchased this cooler as a replacement for a CoolerMaster TX3i to cool my i5-7600K adequately when clocking 5GHz. The NH-U12S delivers excellent cooling performance, both at idle and under full load temperatures have dropped by an average of 7° compared to the TX3i so that I can safely clock 5GHz at 100% load for extended periods of time, with the CPU merely reaching 73° vs. reaching or exceeding 80° previously.
