> 3 dayOverall VERY happy with this cooler. Under full gaming load Im getting 64-67 degrees with a Ryzen 7 3800X. This is much better than getting close to 80 with the stock cooler. Idle temps are only 35-45 degrees which is quite a bit better than the 48-60 I was getting before. Install was fairly easy all though the spring mounts are kind of awkward (Id recommend screwing them in 3 turns at a time to keep it even). You also dont need to over-tighten the screws apparently. For reference, Im running a Fractal R5 case with a frount and rear mount fan, so only 2 fans in total (in addition to the single fan on the cooler itself).

12-11-2024Arrived promptly however the price quoted did not include VAT so it was more expensive than quoted. Cost GBP 121+ incl delivery. Deceptive behaviour - quoting price and omitting that it did not include VAT

> 3 dayI replaced my BeQuiet (not so) Silent Loop 120mm with the Noctua NH-U12S, it is much easier to install, quieter, and the CPU temperature is 34C. My CPU is a running a Ryzen 1700X 3.4GHz not overclocked, it works really well.

> 3 dayWas super exited to recieve my first noctua cooler as I have heard lots of good feedback on them, the cooler itself was nice to install and was fairly easy, I didnt love the mounting mechanism for the fan because it was a little tough for me to get off and bend a little, thats my fault though, even though the heatsink was good unfortunately the fan was not working properly, I did my research and did some diagnostics and it was not the motherboard but the fan. Maybe I was just unlucky and got a defect, but I still would love to try the fans another time.

> 3 dayThis cooler is just as described by product page and great reviews. No problems with installation, great build quality and aesthetics, and works really well. Decided on this air cooler for my new i7-13700k build and installation went great. My CPU idles nice and cool around 32C, all good there. Stress testing the CPU for several minutes puts Ive seen temps reach 96C at stock speeds and power draw. This cooler obviously is doing the job but at over 90C that is a bit too high for my liking. It will also leave little to no room for overclocking and is insufficient for that. So while this cooler is great for most builds it may not be enough for the mid to higher range 13th gen Intel chips. The fans are also pretty loud over 70% RPMs and very loud at full. Excellent product here but perhaps not enough cooling for the latest Intel chips.

> 3 dayItem is performing as expected and is very silent. This is my first fan from this brand and it wont be the last. Quality is very good, assembly is simple and it looks great if you have a glass window case. I have it installed with an i7 11th gen and it keeps it cool, if youre not always overclocking it ! Great for normal computing everyday use !

> 3 dayMy first Noctua cooler and it wont be my last. The Noctua cooler, cools much better than the stock AMD Prism cooler I had. The installation was a breeze and easy to install. Noctua does its homework to ensure a perfect fit. The fan is quiet and I purchased the cover that helped match the color to my system build. It is nice to purchase something that is so well built.
