> 3 dayYes it is big, but easy to install and the fans are SILENT! Easy install without doing a lot of jumping jacks. Ive built computers for myself for over 40 years. Yes, its probably easier for me but this one is no big deal for a beginner. Dont touch the top of the cpu or the bottom of the cooler. Finger oils are bad. You get 20 times the amount of thermal compound you need so just use what they say. With the skins off and my ear 2 inches away it is very hard to hear the fans. Not doing much now and its 28 C (82 F). With the stock AMD cooler it was almost double.

Attention simplement au sens de montage des ventilateurs afin dassurer un flux dair de lavant vers larrière du boitier...

> 3 dayWanted to cool my Ryzen 3900x and the Wraith cooler that AMD provides is a noisy beast with 2 heatpipes and cant even keep the temperatures down without waking up the neighbors. Pushed the boat out and opted for the Noctua being one of the most expensive air coolers in the market, but boy is it worth it. Running FAH on 20 cores it hums a bit, but nowhere near the Wraith, and on idle i really have to check whether the fans are on or off.
