> 3 dayLo uso para refrigerar un Ryzen 9 3900X, en una PC dedicada a simulaciones con elementos finitos, software de dibujo y estadísticos, con un clima #$%& de 32°C y HR>70% todo el año, y hasta la fecha ha dado la talla, procesador por debajo de 85°C al 100% por horas.

Greater than one weekSo its easy to install that it took me two hours to figure out that its forreal THAT EASY. I remember struggling when i had a hyper 212 evo and this is almost like a plug and play experience haha. Its an extremely quiet cooler on max fan speed. I was shook to say the least. And the my temps were pretty solid in my opinion running a i7-8700k at 4.6ghz at an average of 55-65C. Hope you choose this cooler, it is definitely worth it if you care about temp, noise level, and easy installation.

> 3 daySuper quiet fan design. If your setup can accommodate the size of this cooler, it is a winner. Opted for the Noctua over liquid cooling based on prior experience with drastically lowered CPU temps and fan noise over stock AMD setup in older build. Glad I did. My new AMD Ryzen 5900-based setup is running flawlessly and is whisper quiet.

> 3 dayAlthough this CPU cooler isnt as pretty as some AIO or other water coolers, its cooling performance and silent operation surpasses just about all of them. Just search for videos online comparing CPU coolers and youll find good information before you commit to a CPU cooler. For me personally, the aesthetics of a CPU cooler wasnt a big factor. More important to me are the cooling performance and loudness factors. The Noctua NH-U12A is the best of the top CPU coolers for these two factors. Before I watched the videos, I always thought water based CPU coolers were the most quiet and was very surprised to learn that Noctua NH-U12A outperformed some of them in quietness. The only thing that bothered me a bit about the Noctua NH-U12A was that the clips that holds the fans to the heat sinks are not very effective. They dont hold the fans very tightly. I had to use some twist ties to tie the two fans clips together to make sure the clips didnt pop off accidentally. Despite this small annoyance, I still highly recommend the Noctua NH-U12A CPU cooler for those who want great cooling performance along with low noise.

> 3 dayJokes aside, I’m really shocked at just how quiet this thing really is. I build my own PCs every couple of years, usually with the highest end parts available at the time. I’ve always used liquid cooling in my PCs, believing that there was no way a heat sink with a fan on it could possibly cool a high-end processor.

> 3 dayOn my recent 5800X build (running PBO and curve optimizer, nothing fancy) I tried out a relatively nice 360mm AIO with push/pull fans (so 6 fans in total) and then one of these. Performance (Cinebench scores and max temps during runs) was so close as to be indistinguishable between the two, and Ive been testing the Noctua during the recent west coast heat wave, so make of that what you will. All other things being equal, air has obvious advantages, and I wont be swapping the AIO back in.
