Great cooler. The quality you expect from Noctua. Despite the price, these temps rival that of the D15 with better ram and case compatibility. If you want one of the best 120mm single tower air coolers, this would be one of the best. It is expensive but if you see the value in a black cooler. Buy now and dont worry anymore

Have it mounted on a Gigabyte X570S Aero G with a Ryzen 9 5900X CPU. Using supplied thermal paste, CPU temps are a bit high for my liking. Moderate gaming loads are mid to upper 70s. I am going to try and reseat the cooler to see if that helps.

I am using this NH-U12A with a i9 12900k CPU and in a Fractal Torrent case which is a match made in heaven for an air-cooled system. This comes with the socket 1700 kit and installation is simple with great instructions.
