Stop. Just stop and get it. Ran an AIO for more than a year for aesthetic and cooling purposes until the pump whine became too much.

I bought this to keep an i711700k cool under load, I play 4k over 60fps, the CPU is paired with a RTX3080ti and this cooler does a great job. Idle in the low 30s and have never seen the CPU over 60s Celsius. I am very happy, I spent too much on the GPU and NVMEs to have a liquid cooler leak for whatever reason. I more than happy with this air solution.

Good quality, all black cooler, works fine for LGA1700. Keeps i9-12900K cool enough at stock setting, should be good enough for moderate overclocking. Easy to install, premium all black Noctua fans, just wish Noctua would include NT-H2 thermal compound instead of NT-H1. Strongly recommended if you want non-RGB, high performance air cooling for your CPU.

This was a perfect fit for my case and it’s a phenomenal cooler—temps are absolutely wonderful (though the fact that I have it in a Lian Li O11 Air Mini synergizes well with an air cooler may factor into that) but as for the noise level? What noise?

Noctua products are well built. Their fans are quiet. Will buy from them again.

I have always used noctua products. Typically a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. The same applies to this cooler. Keeps my OCed 13600k @ 5.5ghz all clocks to around 65c while gaming, and around 35-40c while idle.

It doesnt look as good an AIO in my opinion but still the chromax black edition doesnt look that bad compared to the brown original version.

When it comes to air cooling a CPU there is no better choice than noctua. The product arrived in perfect condition and is very visually appealing. Mounting was easy and the product quality was typical noctua - excellent. Im running a ryzen 7 5800x and cinebench r23 multi core peaked at 69 degrees celsius in a Lian li Lancool 2 mesh case. Also - I had the nh-d15s before and found that mounting the nh-u12a and installing the fans were much easier.
