> 3 dayIf youre familiar with PC hardware and have heard of this cooler, its exactly what youd expect. Its well packaged, comes with excellent instructions (including mounting hardware for both modern AMD and Intel), and performs unbelievably well.

> 3 dayIt was easy to install, quiet, and the mounting hardware came free from Noctua (sadly its discontinued now). My very aged PC in 10+ years old and still working fine for me. I run a program continuously in the background and my CPU is held at 52C max., with a TDP of 68C for a 130W processor. Whats amazing is my PC case is an old Antec with 2 fans (rear & top), and the Noctua CPU Heat Sink is running at 1050-1150 RPM with the low noise adapter installed. GREAT!

> 3 dayI paid a premium for this cooler as I wanted something to keep my Core i7-4790 in range, be quiet and not hassle with liquid. I debated on the $30 delta between the D14 and D15 - but it was a new build and I splurged. Cant complain. Have 32GB of RAM, 2TB of spinning HDD and 256GB of SSD with an NVIDIA 970 with 4GB of VRAM. I barely hear more than white noise of muted air flow by my side. I suffer more from road and wind noise than I do a distraction from the computer. And thermally I am well below 50C. I accept that this was perhaps overkill - but am I satisfied with the performance for my $30? You Betcha!

> 3 dayI overclocked my cpu to the max; on the stock cooler I was getting red hot temperatures. I installed this and it tops at 80 degrees Celsius. Couldnt have done it without this cooler. Is just plain and simply awesome.
