> 24 hourI redid my entire cooling setup when i received the nh-d15, went from having cpu temps in the 60c range with an aging AIO down to 40c when idle. Usually hit the 50s when gaming, but the entire case stays so much cooler in general. Prior to this, after a gaming session, my case would be almost too hot to touch. Now it only feels warm to the touch. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. So happy, i literally threw my aio in the trash. Good riddance.

> 24 hourAbsolutely amazing cooling. As title states I got a max temp of 70 deg C after a 10 minutes max load stress test in a corsair 4000d with 3 intake 2 outtake fans (and some of these fans are 6 years old salvaged from old pc). Very impressed with this.

> 24 hourDie Leistung ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben, mein Ryzen 7 5800X wird unter voller Last unter 88 °C gehalten obwohl ich, aus optischen Gründen nur den zentralen Lüfter (der NH-D15S wäre nicht viel günstiger gewesen, daher habe ich direkt den Kühler mit zwei Lüftern genommen), bei max. 1250 RPM einsetze (konstant 800 RPM bis 75°C). Der zweite Lüfter bringt bei gleicher Drehzahl noch einmal ca. 2°C bzw. 100~150 Umdrehungen Unterschied, wenn man die Kühlleistung gleich hält. Allerdings finde ich den Preis etwas überzogen (100€.. rund 75€ wären noch ok gewesen). Für gut die Hälfte des Preises gibt es fast gleich gute Lösungen.

> 24 hourI was over water cooling and decided to replace my custom loop with this. I have an overclocked i7 4790k and this keeps it essentially the same temp as my old loop. I am glad I made the switch. As things become more efficient, there seems to be less of a need for water-cooling in general. A good air unit is nice because you dont have to do as much maintenance and piece of mind not having to worry about water when moving/working on your machine.
