> 3 dayArrived with no protective plastic covering the processor contact point. Relatively easy install for AM4. Much too loud, and nowhere close to as efficient at cooling as I was led to believe. I initially tested it on an undervolted Ryzen 5800X and found that thermals could climb as high as 83C during multithreaded tests with the fans screaming. My Scythe Ninja 5 with its 500 RPM fans performed nearly identically while making half the amount of noise. Same temps, same boost clocks. What is wrong with this thing?

> 3 dayI had another Noctua CPU cooler on there previously but it was getting too toasty when underload due to the GPU ramping up. But now with this beast crammed into the ATX case and a fan curve set, Im seeing an easy 20 C difference. Not only are all my temps cooler, but I tore out my house AC unit and now use it to cool my whole house. This thing keeps things under such control that NASA and SpaceX are using it on rockets to keep the capsules cool while going under re-entry through the atmosphere.

> 3 dayIts simply the best air cooler money can buy (space-in-your-case permitting), now in a refreshingly clean matte black. Mine is the LTT edition, so with it came a couple of LTT stickers and orange anti-vibration pads/fittings, which are a nice contrast against the black, and anyone familiar with Noctuas standard brown and beige colour scheme will hopefully be happy with this change :)
