> 3 dayI am pleased to have discovered this brand that provides everything my pet requires. I acquired a product for my hamster and was able to assemble it effortlessly. Despite not being very handy, I managed to put it together in approximately five minutes. I am eager to fill it up so that my pet can enjoy it. The quality is exceptional, and the package includes all the necessary tools, including a screwdriver and other alternatives for assembly.

> 3 daySo unlike all of the other niteangel products I’ve bought this one does need to be assembled but it is pretty quick and easy assembly. There are six main pieces and the box can either be glued together or screwed in together, and it comes with both screws and glue. It also comes with a screwdriver, tape and two wood pieces for when screwing it in. Instructions on how to construct it are included as well.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this! I saw a lot of people in the reviews commenting about the glass not being clear please note there is a film on both sides it just has to get peeled off! :) I love being able to see my hamster dig and she has had no problems getting in and out of it.

> 3 dayI have three hamsters, so buying a fancy dig box for each enclosure is too expensive. However, they have all enjoyed searching for food I sprinkle inside the box during their free roam time. I have curly shredded paper on top of a mixture of coconut fiber and fine textured aspen shavings from Niteangel. So, the food filters through the loose paper and they have to borrow to find it. The acrylic window lets me see them busy searching. Good enrichment for deeper digging they dont get from the shallow containers of coconut fiber and sand they have in their enclosures. They burrow in the bedding, but once the burrow is done, they seldom burrow again until deep cleaning occurs.

> 3 dayI have so many things from niteangel. All are fantastic. This allows burrowing without them kicking it all over the place. Now their setup looks like an old Mario game haha.

> 3 dayI would absolutely recommend this product 1 million times. It is high quality material, easy setup and it even came with two different ways to put it together, glue and take method AND screws and IT CAME WITH A SCREWDRIVER. That part alone was worth 5 stars. The only thing I can say is that the film on the front acrylic piece was a little tricky to get off but totally worth every cent. ABSOLUTELY WILL BE BUYING ALL NITEANGEL THINGS AGAIN!!!

> 3 dayI was looking at building one of these myself as I need a better enclosed sandbath and wanted to experiment with their preference in bedding material. When I saw this I bought two of them without hesitation due to the Niteangel name. Initial impression when I unpacking left me impressed. Because it is Niteangel I am going to assume that the composite boards, glue, and tape are rodent safe. Even so I would of liked to see a solid wood. The color instruction booklet and included tools were nice. The instructions where mostly clear but left it unclear when to install the screws. While the instructions say to fit everything then flip it over to install the screw offsets and screws, the wood does not fit tight enough for this to happen. I found it is better to install each side panel, remembering to use the offset sticks before screwing each side panel together. The offsets are well done, but would of preferred if the screws were flush so the box could sit flat rather than be slightly raised. While the sides were labeled the front or back of the base would of been helpful, though not hard to identify. The stickers on the sides should be placed on the outside not the inside to make removal easier after final assembly. Assembly was easy. Holes were well aligned and properly drilled, though the screwdriver was a slightly different size then the screws. Otherwise tolerances and quality of construction was high. It would of been nice if the screws sat flush. The glue was of substandard quality. One of the tubes had become separated into a clear liquid and a hard white substance. Mixing inside of the tube was impossible. The second tube from the other box spurted and uneven application. Resorted to using my own wood glue to ensure a tight seal. I would not trust the enclosed glue and would use the included screws instead. Removing the protective cover from the acrylic was the hardest part due to the way it was cut. While the acrylic looks nice, to be gerbil safe for chewing and durability from scratches I will be replacing it with glass. The acrylic should not be chewable but the lid does not lock into place so there is always a chance of the edge becoming exposed.
