> 24 hourI got this small 8-inch wheel for use in the play area for my dwarf hamsters because they cannot move the 13-inch Katee wheel my Syrians use in the play area. I have 10-inch and 11-inch wheels in my dwarf hamsters cages which are also Niteangel. Get the biggest wheel your hamster can run in easily. I recommend 10-inch for most dwarf hamsters which lowers the risk of them spinning upside down which happens frequently with small wheels.

> 24 hourI felt compelled to write this review, which is something I never do, because this wheel is awesome. I was this close to purchasing a wood wheel for my gerbils because I read in multiple places that gerbils chew everything plastic and it can be really dangerous for them, not to mention annoying to see the thing you just bought half destroyed. At the last minute I decided against the wood wheel after seeing some photos of un-cleanable pee stains in the wood. I figured I’d get this plastic wheel and if I saw any chew marks I’d immediately get rid of it. When the wheel arrived I noticed immediately how large and well made it seemed. I loved that it’s height adjustable so it fits in my cage, despite its large diameter. It’s very solid, the plastic is quite thick and hard and the wheel is completely quiet while spinning. It’s also very smooth as it spins, not grindy or jostly. It comes with a self-stick cork bottom so it doesn’t slide around the cage. I love that it’s see-through so we can better watch the gerbils running. All around this is a very well designed and well thought out piece of equipment, manufactured with care. And while the gerbils do pee in the wheel a LOT, I’m happy to say that after over a month, there is zero sign of chewing. It seems I made the right decision.

> 24 hourThe wheel itself if completely silent, all you hear is your hamsters paws going do do do do as it runs. It’s so cute. It’s definitely worth it. I had to return it because I was allergic to the hamster but while I had it, it was amazing

> 24 hourThe sizes are actually proper for these animals. I find other brands run way too small. They also look very nice and are silent. Love the big base on them, very sturdy and dont wobble at all. I recommend this to every hamster owner. Just because they are called a small animal doesnt mean they require less or should have small supplies. They are small animals with big needs!

> 24 hourThis is sturdy and stable and whisper-quiet. Our hamster loves it and even though the price point seemed high at first, I would purchase it again. It’s easy to clean too.

> 24 hourIt’s a little small for my hedgehog, but it does not stop him from running all night long! I DO NOT HEAR HIM AT ALL!!

> 24 hourHad a hard time finding an aesthetically pleasing hedgehog sized wheel until this one. I really didn’t want to spend the money on it, but I’m glad I did because it’s got some awesome features. You can move the wheel up and down and it’s super easy to clean. My hedgehog, Dave, likes to poop and run at the same time and smashes his poop in it like a complete psycho so I just spray it with pet safe cleaner, let it sit, then spray it with hot water. Then I wake up the next morning and he’s done it again lmao. The only thing I dislike is it’s not completely silent but that’s fine because his cage isn’t in my room and there is a cork board bottom. I can’t remember if it came with it and I put it on or if it was on it already when I got it, but if I put it on, definitely don’t because it’ll get soaked in rodent pee and absorb it like a sponge. Lol

> 24 hourBought one for each hamster and they are very quiet. The only noise you hear is their nails on the wheel. Would only by this brand again!

> 24 hourI got the medium wheel, it takes up about 1/5 of my 20gal long tank, not a bad thing but as someone who eyeballs things, i wish i had gotten a smaller one. Im keeping it because i plan on upsizing my mouse area anyway, and ill eventually buy a smaller one for the 20gal. Just thought it would be helpful!
